When to Get Your Mastectomy Bra Fitting

After a mastectomy, your body and needs have changed. During the first six weeks, you’ll need soft compression bras with various levels of compression as directed by your surgeon.

About 6 weeks after surgery, with your doctor’s guidance, is typically the ideal time for your first personalised fitting for your new pocketed bras. This ensures your bra and prosthesis feel comfortable, natural, and supportive.
